TSF vintage radio WIFI - High Fidelity sound
Radio Art déco très recherchée équipée d’un amplificateur 100 W de classe D allié à un haut parleur de graves (woofer) de puissance 80W et de 16 cm de diamètre et un tweeter à dôme en soire de 20W (le haut-parleur original avait une puissance de 1W !). Elle répond aux critères de notre gamme haute-fidélité : modernisée en enceinte multivoies, ses haut-parleurs et filtres ont été dimensionnés en fonction de la caisse de l’appareil afin d’en tirer le meilleur parti.
Un filtrage numérique permet d’obtenir une courbe de réponse très plate, pour un son haute-fidélité équilibré. Un soin particulier a été apporté aux graves : les basses sont dynamiques (leur niveau est augmenté à bas volume) et un interrupteur permet d’activer la fonction Superbass pour donner plus de corps aux graves selon les goûts et le type de musique écouté.

Its WIFI module will allow you to stream audio from music platforms and radio stations with much better sound quality than Bluetooth. Technical possibilities are rapidly evolving and we are dedicated to making our vintage devices effective tools to take advantage of them!

WIFI connectivity also opens up the possibility of synchronous wireless streaming to multiple devices (multi-room). If you buy a second device (radio, WIFI record player or WIFI speaker), one could play the left track and the other the right, or one could play your music in the living room and the other in the kitchen. We also sell a WIFI adaptor that converts your audio system into a WIFI speaker via a simple jack plug.

The device is also equipped with a Bluetooth connectivity to broadcast tracks stored on your phone (MP3 ...) or sound directly from the Internet (Youtube ...).

Case condition
L’extérieur est totalement d’origine. Quelques signes mineurs de l’âge de l’appareil :
- a few chips on the front grill
- the varnish is slightly scratched on some places
As you can see from the pictures, this radio is in excellent condition!
History of the radio
Océanic was founded in Paris in 1937 by Roger Toutain, he was able to produce only one model of radio before the outbreak of the war and did not resume the activity until 1949. In the early 1950s, Paris was the world capital of Art Deco design, and this was reflected in all elements of interior design. In 1953, Oceanic had the idea of developing Art Deco models on the theme of the sea, and the success was instantaneous, and the production continued until 1966. Then the brand started to produce televisions and the first 'flat' screens.
These "sea" radios have since become highly sought after by collectors. The Ocean was the first of these models, and only a handful were produced: it is extremely rare!
