We are a small artisanal company located in the south of France deep in the wine region, with 30 years of experience in the repair and design of audio systems.
Since 2016, we have been guiding out of the attics old TSF radio sets, turntables and record players, giving them a new future.
TSF sets, Record players, Turntables : Collector's items
These old units are often in working order when they reach us, but are still unusable. There are almost no more Amplitude Modulation stations in Europe and, for the most recent sets of our collection with FM reception, their filters are so wide that several stations are invited at the same time in the loudspeaker! Finally, the power of these devices, of the order of a watt, is clearly below what we consider to be a quality audio system.
In other words, these devices have an antique value that increases with their age, but they no longer have any use besides serving as an amazing piece of furniture. They need to be modernized before they can be returned to their audiophile audience.
Preserved antiques
Our philosophy is not to denature these objects of collection. We preserve their integrity, so our customers buy a rare and intact antique. This point is to be underlined in comparison with our competitors. Many of them simply restore the exterior of their radios and then strip them down to their bare bones to put in a Bluetooth system. We're talking about radios here: we're the only ones to offer turntables and record players.
In our workshop, we renovate them with care until they regain their original splendor.
Some cases require striping and re-varnishing, but when possible we avoid this and prefer to clean and French polish the wood. With this process we often have to stabilize some areas of the veneer, which takes quite a bit of time and care.
All original components are retained within the units. We also restring dials and pointers to functional state.
For turntables and record players, we rebuild the turntable with new drive wheels, belts and cartridge. We also strip and rebuild the AC motor.
Where needed the old speaker fabric is replaced. The switches are also rebuilt if required.
Upcycling the sets
So we only take the original speaker out of the case and use the available space to place our audio system.
The old power plug is removed and a new low voltage power supply installed. We renovate the lighting of the front of the appliances and their "magic eye" with an LED system.
We then add for the sound restitution a powerful analog class D amplifier, modern loudspeakers with neodymium magnets, and filters for a high quality sound.
Tous les appareils sortis de notre atelier depuis le printemps 2023 sont de plus équipés d’un processeur destiné au filtrage numérique. Nous pouvons ainsi réaliser une série d’enregistrements pour obtenir la courbe de réponse initiale du système et calculer des filtres pour en corriger les accidents. Ces filtres sont ensuite programmés dans le processeur, le résultat est une réponse beaucoup plus plate sur l’ensemble du spectre audible, approchant un son haute-fidélité. To upgrade the device into a connected speaker, a wireless module for Wifi and Bluetooth connection is inserted.
Thus equipped, our radios generate a sound that will satisfy an audiophile and have all the features of a wireless connected speaker. In particular, they can broadcast your digital music or music platforms from your phone or tablet.
Our record players and turntables are also equipped with a phono preamplifier. This is intended to prepare the analog signal of the turntable to be amplified.
Finally, our WIFI record players and all our turntables are endowed with an analog-to-digital converter. This converter digitizes the turntable signal so that it can be transmitted via WIFI to other wireless devices.

Our High-Fidelity line
The high-end! These devices, identified on the pictures by the silver frame, are upcycled in multichannel Hi-Fi speaker.
L’ensemble du système est calculé spécifiquement pour le poste en fonction des dimensions de la caisse, à l’aide d’un logiciel que nous avons programmé. Le signal en sortie d’amplificateur est envoyé dans un filtre, fabriqué par nos soins à partir de composants électroniques de qualité audio. Celui-ci sépare le signal en basses et hautes fréquences pour nourrir un haut-parleur de basse (woofer), puissant et de grand diamètre, et un haut-parleur d’aigus (tweeter) plus petit, et assure l’égalisation des niveaux entre les deux hauts-parleurs.
Depuis le printemps 2023, nous avons ajouté une carte électronique réalisant une égalisation par filtrage numérique. Après avoir mesuré la réponse de l’appareil aux différentes fréquences, nous pouvons ainsi programmer des filtres pour en corriger les accidents et obtenir un son encore plus équilibré.

Ainsi équipés, nos appareils haute-fidélité vous offre un excellent rendu musical, des plus basses aux plus hautes fréquences. Les plus puissants d’entre eux permettent d’atteindre des niveaux sonores de l’ordre de 95 dB à un mètre : si vous ne sonorisez pas une boîte de nuit, vous ne manquerez jamais de son !
