Description
WIFI Bluetooth Multiroom Vintage Radio
TSF radio set equipped with a 80W full range speaker combined with a class D amplifier (the original speaker had a power of 1 W!). An active filtering enables this audio system to get closer to a high fidelity sound and bass management is dynamic (relative increase in intensity at low volume for harmonious rendering even when muted).
Its WIFI module will allow you to stream audio from music platforms and radio stations with much better sound quality than Bluetooth. Technical possibilities are rapidly evolving and we are dedicated to making our vintage devices effective tools to take advantage of them!

WIFI connectivity also opens up the possibility of synchronous wireless streaming to multiple devices (multi-room). If you buy a second device (radio, WIFI record player or WIFI speaker), one could play the left track and the other the right, or one could play your music in the living room and the other in the kitchen.

The device is also equipped with a Bluetooth connectivity to broadcast tracks stored on your phone (MP3 ...) or sound directly from the Internet (Youtube ...).

Case condition
The body and front grill are all original and have survived the test of time! The varnish is entirely original, with a few scratches and discolorations due to sun exposure. We bought this radio first-hand from a family in Bordeaux. It has therefore been exposed to the sea air for its entire life: there is significant pitting on the gold grille. The two plastic scroll patterns on the black ends are also missing, but as you can see, this radio is 64 years old and gorgeous!
History of the radio
Océanic was founded in Paris in 1937 by Roger Toutain, he was able to produce only one model of radio before the outbreak of the war and did not resume the activity until 1949. In the early 1950s, Paris was the world capital of Art Deco design, and this was reflected in all elements of interior design. In 1953, Oceanic had the idea of developing Art Deco models on the theme of the sea, and the success was instantaneous, and the production continued until 1966. Then the brand started to produce televisions and the first 'flat' screens. These "sea" radios are now very sought after by collectors.
These "sea" radios have since become highly sought after by collectors. The Albatros was one of the first models of the range, there are not many left in good condition.
