Description
Vintage Radio with WIFI
TSF radio set equipped with a 40W full range speaker combined with a class D amplifier (the original speaker had a power of 1 W!). An active filtering enables this audio system to get closer to a high fidelity sound and bass management is dynamic (relative increase in intensity at low volume for harmonious rendering even when muted).
The device also features noise filters to suppress electronic noise from the WIFI card and electrical activity in the room.

Its WIFI module will allow you to stream audio from music platforms and radio stations with much better sound quality than Bluetooth. Technical possibilities are rapidly evolving and we are dedicated to making our vintage devices effective tools to take advantage of them!

WIFI connectivity also opens up the possibility of synchronous wireless streaming to multiple devices (multi-room). If you buy a second device (radio, WIFI record player or WIFI speaker), one could play the left track and the other the right, or one could play your music in the living room and the other in the kitchen.

History of the radio
Ribet et Desjardins was a small Paris based company founded in 1921 and continued in business until 1967
Around the 1950’s, the brand was a very famous manufacturer of measuring devices, especially oscilloscopes. They also made radio and television devices . They than extended thier range to transistors, record players, FM, etc. In 1962, the brand received the "Prestige de la France" diploma for the quality and performance of all its productions.
From the 60s, Ribet-Desjardins was part of the COCELAM group which also included the GRAMMONT and SONNECLAIR brands. From 1966 onwards, COCELAM closed the GRAMMONT and SONNECLAIR factories, transferred the measurement department to the CRC and then closed the RIBET-DESJARDINS factory before merging with the CGE. By 1967 the brand and disappeared!
